Welcome to my blog, and thanks for visiting my site! I am a local realtor in Arvada, Colorado servicing the greater Denver area with West + Main Homes. I love my brokerage, where I live, and the community I am a part of.

I wanted to give a quick overview of the market stats from 2021. We had a year of record growth with demand staying high from 2020.

Some key take aways as we enter the new year:

  • We have new conforming loan limits which increased to $684,250 in the Denver Market Area for 2022.

  • The low interest rates along with low inventory continued to send the prices of homes rising throughout 2021.

  • The average sales price in Denver started at $629,159 with average days on the market of 19 in January, and ended in December at $705,753 with 19 day on the market.

  • 59,692 were sold in the Denver Metro Area in 2021

  • Inventory will continue to be an issue in 2022

There are homes coming on the market every week, and being bought just as quickly. People are still looking for homes to full-fill their new needs in this post-pandemic world. As our homes continue to appreciate many people are looking to use their homes value to buy their dream homes now.
